Daily Lives of High School Boys offers a plot that’s loosely connected, following a trio of teenage boys and narrating various events in their lives. This anime mixes the concept of gag anime with slice of life, letting the audience feel right at home while you watch it.

Haikyuu is a sports anime that’s realistic while focusing on its cast of unique and very well written characters. When watching this show, you’re sure to find someone to root for, if not all the characters. Driven by their own ambitions and desires, you’ll find yourself cheering for these volleyball players as you watch.

There’s a lot of fun interactions in this anime, as well as plenty of exciting moments that will make you hold your breath as you wait for the action to unfold. Characters bond, quarrel, and grow, providing audiences with plenty of relationships to focus on.

10/10: Azumanga Daioh

Azumanga Daioh begins with child prodigy Chiyo as she zooms ahead into high school, years ahead of other children her age. There, along with the audience, she meets a cast of quirky high school girls and teachers. Each character has a distinct personality, and when they all come together, the interactions are comedy gold.
